With national lockdowns ongoing for the foreseeable future, we are in the middle of revising elements of our upcoming programme. It is our main priority to ensure the safety of our collaborators and everyone who visits us.
Following a temporary closure since March 2020 and a six month period of online programming, we were looking forward to reopening Obsidian Coast’s exhibition programme in Bradford-on-Avon in early 2021 with Himali Singh Soin’s project we are opposite like that, originally scheduled to open in May 2020.
Unfortunately, due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions across the UK, we have decided together with Himali to reimagine our collaboration. We are excited to rechannel our energies towards a newly considered outcome, whilst taking into account the unpredictable circumstances that affect our work. Further details accompanied by revised dates will be announced as our plans develop.
We are also happy to be working with April Lin on their moving image commission Loving 佢 | /ˈlʌvɪŋ/ /keuih/ and look to open the related solo exhibition on 3 July 2021.
