Installation view of Adam Khalil and Zack Khalil: INAATE/SE/ [it shines a certain way. to a certain place./it flies. falls./] at Obsidian Coast, 2020
Following the recent developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to close Obsidian Coast for the time being.

We want to do our best to ensure that our friends, neighbours, the wider arts community and those especially vulnerable are safe and well. As Obsidian Coast is simultaneously a project space and our home, the decision to temporarily close is also about us caring for ourselves and for one another.

In the meantime, we are working on ways to show our friends and collaborators’ work online to continue to support artistic practice through this period. We hope that these digital supplies will reach all of you in self-isolation as something to gather around remotely, and as a contribution to the generous circulation of projects and ideas that is currently unfolding. We will follow up with programme announcements as our ideas shift into focus, and confirm our reopening plans as soon as we feel that it is safe again to have visitors at the Coast. Please join our mailing list to hear our latest updates.

If you would like to get in touch for any reason, you can always reach us at info[at]obsidiancoast.art.

Warmest,
Nella & Sam
